This is the third year Attorney Jesse S. Shapiro has been recognized for contributing to various areas of legal professionalism in the North Carolina.

July 21, 2017 – Attorney Jesse S. Shapiro has received the North Carolina Advocates for Justice (NCAJ) Award 2017 for Order of Service. This year’s recognition marks the third consecutive year that Shapiro has won the award.

The Order of Service is a special designation recognizing NJAC members who have contributed both time and financial resources in areas including amicus brief writing, speaking at continuing education seminars, actively serving on committees, writing articles for trial briefs, and chairing educational programs.

The NJAC recognizes attorneys in North Carolina who are committed to serving the state’s residents by way of exceptional legal expertise and education.

According to Shapiro, “Being recognized as an advocate for justice in North Carolina this year is truly an honor. I’ve been fighting for worker’s rights for more than 15 years and giving back to my community is very important to me. By donating my time I can help ensure fair legal counsel is provided for all persons regardless of economic status, race, or gender.”

Shapiro practices at Wilson, Reives & Silverman, a practice that has become synonymous with best-in-class legal services. The practice offers more than 75 years of legal expertise in areas including workers’ compensation, personal injury, family law, and criminal defense.
