Giving Back to the Community
Wilson, Reives & Silverman’ reputation for caring and compassion go beyond our legal work and into the community. We are involved in the Chamber of Commerce, schools and the Central Carolina Community College.
A core part of the culture and way of conducting professional duties at Wilson, Reives & Silverman is the belief in giving. This means giving to the community, which has caused the firm to become well-known. Our work is meant to benefit our clients and to help make things better in the communities they live and work in, such as Sanford and Apex.
We give to the community because it helps strengthen our relationships with clients and their friends and family. Our attorneys often keep in contact with many clients even after the case is settled. This demonstrates each attorney’s authenticity and commitment to being a partner to our clients.
Contributions to Education
Access to education benefits the entire community, which is why the firm invests resources in the community college and other educational opportunities. At the community college, Wilson, Reives & Silverman established the CEAD endowment, and it has grown from a group of citizens over the past 30 years. It is primarily funded through individual contributions and Wilson, Reives & Silverman’ annual Christmas party, to which several hundred people are invited. This decades-old tradition results in donations that have been able to establish the endowment at the community college.
Our firm has recognized firsthand how education can enable people to do more with their careers and follow their passion. We want the people in our communities to have the opportunity to experience education in the field they choose so that they can do meaningful work for themselves and for the community. Education is a pillar for improving any community, which is why we support it in Lee county.
Best of the Best
Wilson, Reives & Silverman’ reputation for bettering the community and serving our clients has resulted in our being named the “Best of the Best” for Lee County for five years by the Sanford Herald newspaper. The firm works to continue to meet the community expectations and uphold the honor.
